Send Relief Mission Partnership Lunch
Sammy Simmons, National Projects Director for Send Relief & Rob Allen, Director of Ashland Ministry Center (Ashland, KY), will provide training for church staff on how they can impact their community, share about how God is at work through compassion ministry across the country, and bring awareness to available resources from Send Relief. Participants will be entered into a drawing to receive a free mission trip from Send Relief.
LBA New Pastors Day
Pastors are invited to join in a time of learning more about the Lexington Baptist Association and the South Carolina Baptist Convention. The day will begin at the Lexington Baptist Association, where pastors will gain information about resources and ministry opportunities. We will share some additional thoughts over lunch before traveling to the South Carolina Baptist Convention offices to learn more about the work of the state convention office.

Our Central Lexington Pastors’ Small Group meets 10:00–11:30 AM, followed by a complimentary lunch provided by the LBA. It’s a time for encouragement, fellowship, and sharpening together in ministry.
SC Disaster Relief Unit Leader Training
This event is our annual training for SC Disaster Relief Unit Leaders (Blue Hats). There will be a segment for NEW Unit Leaders, plus training sessions for New AND Current Unit Leaders.
Note: This is a REQUIRED training for all SC Unit Leaders

Before you register, you must be recommended by a Current Unit Leader or an Associational Mission Strategist (formerly known as DOM) and be pre-approved to attend by Susan Peugh. Please have your UL or AMS contact Susan Peugh, DR Director at 404-432-3067 or susanpeugh@scbaptist.org for approval.

For New Unit Leaders (Current UL may attend as a refresher, but you must sign up to attend.)

Heart4Schools Conference
The 2026 Heart4Schools Conference theme: Shine Where You Serve. Together, you will share ways to support, encourage, and impact students and teachers across South Carolina through the love of Christ.
South Carolina Superintendent of Education Ellen Weaver will open the conference with a message about the importance of serving and strengthening our schools and communities.
Heart4Schools brings hope and shares Christ’s love in local schools throughout the state. Whether you are an experienced leader or volunteer, or you are just beginning to explore how you can serve a local school, you will gain valuable insights and encouragement from our keynote speaker, breakout leaders, and Heart4Schools volunteers from around South Carolina.

Join us for a time of training and fellowship with other leaders. Attend training for your different roles and age levels, as well as breakout sessions on various topics such as how to start new groups, how to communicate about WMU, practical mission opportunities, and much more.

SC Baptist at SBC Party
Come join SCBaptists at Main Event Orlando after the SBC Pastor’s Conference from 9-11 p.m.! We will have some late night snacks and some fun activities.
Families are welcome, just be sure to register for them!
Main Event Orlando is a quick 8 minute walk or 3 minute drive from the Convention Center so there will be no shuttle provided this year.
SBC Convention Annual Meeting Orlando, FL
The Southern Baptist Convention Annual Meeting will take place June 7–10, 2026, in Orlando, Florida, at the Orange County Convention Center. Each year, Southern Baptists from across the country gather for several days of worship, fellowship, and important business that helps shape the future of the convention.
The week will also include the SBC Pastors’ Conference, numerous breakout sessions, and nearly 200 meetings and ministry gatherings designed to encourage and equip pastors, ministry leaders, and church messengers for the work of the Gospel.
