Pastoral Care

We walk alongside pastors and their families by offering encouragement, support, resources and care through every season of ministry.

Pastors’ Small Group

Our Pastors’ Small Group meets every fourth Tuesday at the LBA from 9:00–11:00 AM, followed by a complimentary lunch provided by the LBA. It’s a time for encouragement, fellowship, and sharpening together in ministry.

Supporting Pastors & Their Families

At the Lexington Baptist Association, we are committed to walking alongside pastors and their families through encouragement, connection, and resources. Our efforts include:

  • Monthly Gatherings – Regional Pastor Small Groups & Wives Gatherings (January–May; August–November) to foster fellowship, encouragement, and collaboration.

  • Special Events – Annual Pastors & Wives Conference and Retreat designed to refresh and equip ministry leaders.

  • Personal Connections – Weekly relational lunch meetings between our Associational Mission Strategist (AMS) and pastors.

  • Crisis Support – Providing care and assistance through severance guidance and conflict intervention.

  • Ministry Transitions – Helping with pulpit supply, retirement planning, installations, and celebrations.

  • Pastoral Resources

    • Developing, recording, and publishing podcasts featuring pastors, LBA staff, and guests.

    • Offering continuing education opportunities and learning cohorts for growth and development.
