You're Invited: Executive Committee Meeting – September 25
We warmly invite you to join us for the upcoming Lexington Baptist Association Executive Committee Meeting, taking place on Thursday, September 25, from 12:30 to 1:30 PM at the LBA Office (255 Two Notch Road). This meeting is an important opportunity for us to come together in fellowship, hear ministry updates, discuss upcoming initiatives, and make key decisions that shape the work of our association. Your voice and participation are valued as we seek to strengthen our collective mission. An optional meal will be provided, beginning at 12:15 PM for those who would like to come a little early to eat and enjoy fellowship with other committee members and ministry partners. To help us prepare adequately—especially in planning for the meal—we kindly ask that you RSVP by Monday, September 23. We are grateful for your continued support and leadership and look forward to seeing you there! |
SC Pre-State Fair Ministry
SC State Fair Ministry (October 8–19) Each year, the Lexington Baptist Association partners with the Columbia Metro Baptist Association to serve the workers and families who travel to Columbia for the South Carolina State Fair. This ministry takes place in the days leading up to and during the fair and provides a unique opportunity to share the love of Christ in practical and compassionate ways. The SC State Fair Ministry includes efforts such as: * Providing meals and refreshments to fair workers * Distributing hygiene kits and essential supplies * Offering devotional materials and opportunities for prayer * Hosting worship services and spiritual support * Building relationships with carnival and fair personnel who often live on the road This outreach is a collaborative effort to meet both the physical and spiritual needs of individuals who might otherwise be overlooked. It's a powerful demonstration of the Gospel in action, as volunteers come together to serve with kindness, consistency, and care. |
Packets are to be delivered to Lexington Baptist Association by November 25th.
In order to comply with the guidelines of our host facility, we will not be able to allow any Collection Day volunteers under the age of 18. If minors are present for an event on their campus, NewSpring requires that all adult volunteers pass a background screening and complete child protection training. Since we have inmates who serve with us on Collection Day we cannot allow anyone under the age of 18 to be present with us that day. Please help us by informing potential volunteers from your association of this new guideline. Our online volunteer registration will require each person to agree to this standard to register. If you have any questions about packet items, Collection Day, or volunteer registration contact Sandy Bezjak at 803-227-6064 or [email protected].
