Thank you for serving inmates in South Carolina through Christmas Prisoner Packets! Since it began in 1976, South Carolina Baptists have donated over ONE MILLION packets to this ministry!
Packets are to be delivered to Lexington Baptist Association by December 3rd, or you may drop them off at NewSpring Church by December 10th.
Please check packets as they are delivered to your association. Be sure to remove any items that are not on the approved packing list (like combs, wash cloths, or toothbrush holders) and replace any items that are missing from the approved packing list. Any extra items you collect may be delivered along with your packets on December 10th at NewSpring Church.
All packets must be delivered by noon on TUESDAY, December 10th to NewSpring Church (657 Bush River Road, Columbia, SC 29210).
**NEW GUIDELINE FOR 2024** In order to comply with the guidelines of our host facility, we will not be able to allow any Collection Day volunteers under the age of 18. If minors are present for an event on their campus, NewSpring requires that all adult volunteers pass a background screening and complete child protection training. Since we have inmates who serve with us on Collection Day we cannot allow anyone under the age of 18 to be present with us that day. Please help us by informing potential volunteers from your association of this new guideline. Our online volunteer registration will require each person to agree to this standard to register.
If you have any questions about packet items, Collection Day, or volunteer registration contact Sandy Bezjak at 803-227-6064 or [email protected].
